A 300-Year Tradition
In the 17th and 18th centuries, hand-painted silks arrived in Europe from China and enchanted its royal courts. Artisans began painting gardens, songbirds and blossoming branches onto silk panels, and the grandest palaces dressed their walls in them.
From Versailles and the Château de Chantilly to Britain's Royal Pavilion at Brighton, hand-painted chinoiserie silk still lines the walls of historic palaces today, centuries on. Radius carries that tradition forward for you, with the same craft and the same natural silk, made now for your home.

The Atelier
Radius is an Abu Dhabi atelier working in the French Louis XV and chinoiserie tradition, making heirloom interiors the slow way. Our wallpaper began as a search for walls that felt alive: the depth of real silk, the hand of a painted garden, the calm of a finish that ages gracefully in Gulf light.
Each design is hand-drawn and hand-applied, and every wall is made to order and given the attention a bespoke piece deserves.
